Privacy Policy — Balance

Balance (“we,” “the app”) is developed by Michel Santos (MS Labs). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the app operates.

1. Health and Progress Data

We believe your health data is private. Therefore, the following data is stored exclusively on your device:

Weight logs, goals, and notes.
Progress photos.
Personalized settings.

We do not have access to, collect, or transmit this information to our servers.

2. Synchronization and Backup (Premium)

If you choose to use synchronization, your data will be stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure. We do not have access to the content stored in your iCloud. Apple’s privacy policy applies (apple.com/privacy).

3. Apple Health

If you authorize integration with the Health app, Balance can read and write weight and height data. This communication occurs locally on your iPhone, and the data follows the same privacy rules mentioned above.

4. Usage Analytics

To continuously improve the app’s experience and design, we use the Amplitude SDK to collect anonymous usage data.

What we collect: Interface interactions (e.g., button clicks and performance metrics).
What we DO NOT collect: Your weight, photos, or any information that personally identifies you.
Purpose: Strictly for technical improvement and product usability.

5. Third Parties and Advertising

Ad-Free: Balance is 100% free of third-party advertising. We do not share data with ad networks.
Animations: We use the Lottie SDK (Airbnb) solely for visual animation rendering, with no data collection.
Payments: Subscriptions are processed via Apple StoreKit. We do not have access to your financial information or credit card details.

6. Data Deletion

To delete all data, simply uninstall the app from your device. To remove data from iCloud: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Balance → Delete Data.
